You cannot pause your membership if it has been cancelled and you're in your notice period. You can’t cancel or change your pause on the last day of your pause period. If you’re on an annual contract, your contract period will be extended by the number of days your membership was paused.

Yes, you can. If you pause your membership, your commitment period will be extended by the number of days you paused. All our memberships can be paused for up to 60 days per year, divided into a maximum of two periods.

The purchase is completed directly in the benefits portal you use, either via their app or website. Once the purchase is completed, contact Bruce Studios via the in-app chat, and we will help you activate your membership or credits.

You sign up for your membership in the city where you will use it most, but you can work out in other cities and countries where Bruce Studios is located! On our website as well as in the Bruce Studios app, you can see which cities and countries Bruce Studios is currently in.

Yes, a late check-in will be registered to the member. Life can get in the way sometimes and we allow 2 late check-ins before being locked for further bookings. Read more about the strike system here..

Yes! If you know someone who is a Bruce Studios member, they can give you an invite to a free workout. The free workout can be an instructor-led class or solo training at, for example, a gym or climbing center.

• Wellness studios are not included in free workout invites.
• Users who have Bruce Studios credits but no active membership cannot send invites.
• Each invite code is unique and can only be used once by a person who is not yet a Bruce Studios member.
• You can use a free workout from friends once every three months.

Becoming a member after your free workout:

• If you sign up for a membership after using a free workout invite, you will receive 30% off your membership for 3 months. This offer can only be used once per person. The discount is automatically applied after redeeming an invite code and will be visible at checkout when signing up for a membership.
• The friend who invited you will receive 200 SEK off their next payment.

Members can send out as many free invites as they like. However:

• Discounts can only reduce a payment down to 0 SEK
• Discounts are not paid out in cash

No, the trial period currently only applies to Black.

Unfortunately, there are always those who attempt to deceive the system. If it is not possible to check in, it may be because the person is not a paying member of Bruce Studios. This can also be seen by asking the person to show their membership in the app under "account". We have the memberships Base, Black, Epic and also some that have Credits.

Yes, the member receives a late check-in. When a member scans the QR code, a visit is registered, which then generates compensation for you. If you don't want to allow members to join the class on late arrival, due to a closed door, etc., you can let our support team know.

Yes, we offer a student discount!

Students receive a 100 SEK/NOK/DKK monthly discount on Base and Black annual memberships.

To claim the discount in Sweden, visit Mecenat’s website to get your personal code and apply it directly in the Bruce Studios app.

To claim the discount in Norway and Denmark, please contact our support team and attach a photo of your valid student ID. If your student card doesn’t show an expiry date for the current term, please also include your enrollment confirmation (indskrivningsbekræftelse).

Please note that the student discount must be applied before activating a membership and cannot be combined with other offers.

As a Bruce Studios Member, the same rules apply as for our other partner studios. Only you, with a valid membership, have access to STC's facilities. If you were to admit an unauthorized person, you will be charged with a penalty fee of 1000 SEK. In case of repeated incidents, you will be blocked from using the service.

If you want to bring a friend to a studio, you can send an invite through the app. Your friend needs to finalize the invitation and check into the studio themselves (Read more in the Bruce Studios app).

For as long as we can remember, we have been organizing events together with our partners to give something extra to both our and your members. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any thoughts and ideas for events that fit your premises. The events can be both large and small.

We have 3 different categories of events in the app:

Bruce Studios Studio event - a larger event that we create and manage ourselves.

Event class - an event together with your partners where we market the event and offer snacks and drinks.

If you use a gift card, you will not be able to take advantage of Bruce Studios' 14-day free trial. However, you can still benefit from other offers and discounts when signing up for a membership for the first time.

Select the gift card you want to purchase. Create an account. Write a personal message to the gift recipient (optional). Pay with a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You will receive an email with the gift card and receipt. Send the email or URL to the gift recipient.

The gift recipient downloads the Bruce Studios app and activates the code.

The new collaboration with STC provides you, as a Bruce Studios member, the opportunity to work out at all STC gyms in Sweden*. This applies to all membership levels (Base, Black, and Epic). You can both book classes and work out solo during STC's regular opening hours. The same rules for No show, late cancellation, and late check-in apply.

• STC Åbybadet and STC Östersund Storsjöbadet are not included in the Bruce Studios membership

Bruce Studios has a dynamic revenue distribution, where Bruce Studios pays out about 70% of the revenue, calculated on a yearly basis. The payments per visit are based on the revenue in a month and the total number of visits to all partners. Hence, the payment per visit varies each month.

In general, there are more visits and a lower payment in e.g. January-February and fewer visits and a higher payment in June-July.

The trial allows you to work out for free at studios included in the Black membership for 14 days.*

During the 14-day trial, you can check in a maximum of 4 times in total. One of these visits can be at a wellness studio, and you can visit each studio once during the trial. Please note that some wellness studios may require an additional fee, and there you pay the same fee as a Black member.

The trial can only be started once by new customers who have not previously had a membership or used credits. If someone tries to start a trial again, a regular Black membership will begin automatically and is non-refundable.

The trial is available periodically throughout the year.

When you have purchased Bruce Studios through a benefits portal (Benify, Epassi, Wellnet, or Söderberg & Partners), contact Bruce Studios via the in-app chat, and we will help you activate your membership or credits. All instructor-led classes must be pre-booked in the Bruce Studios app. Most classes can be booked 5 minutes before start. By activating the Bruce Studios calendar subscription under settings, you will also see your booked classes in your calendar app.

You can purchase gift cards for all our different memberships as well as credits. Click here to learn more about how to buy and activate your gift card.

At STC, there are no Bruce Studios QR codes, instead you open doors, check-in, and print out a class tickets using STC's own QR codes. Please note that you need to have location services enabled to check in at a studio. If you are too far away from the studio or have location services turned off, you will not be able to check-in.

When you arrive at a studio, you always need to scan the Bruce Studios QR code to check-in. When you scan the code, your visit is registered and you receive your entrance ticket. You always have to check in yourself, the staff at the studio cannot do it for you in their system.

To delete your account, go to Account > Log out > Delete account.

When your account is deleted, all your user data will be anonnymized. Anonymizing a deleted user's data is an irreversible action and can not be restored. Only delete your account if you're sure you don't want to use it again.

You will find receipts for your payments in the app under your account. If you want a combined receipt for multiple payments, click Select and mark the receipts you want to include. You can then send the combined receipt to your email.

You can pay with credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Base members can have up to 3 bookings at the same time, Black members can have 4, and Epic members can have 5 simultaneous bookings.

Yes, Bruce Studios is valid for occupational health. If you live in Sweden, you can buy Bruce Studios through the wellness portals Epassi, Benify, Söderberg & Partners and Wellnet. Read more here. Otherwise, you can give the receipts for your payments in the app directly to your employer.

For purchases made through a wellness portal the purchase must be activated within one (1) month from the date of purchase.

Note: When purchasing a membership from Epassi, Wellnet or Söderberg & Partner you don't have wellness access in your membership.

Yes, we can always discuss this together. It is both a strategic decision on our part which level all partners are available at and the wishes of our partners.

A partner on Base can only offer Base classes and, a Black partner can only offer Black classes.

Exceptions apply to a partner on Epic where you can offer either, only Epic classes alternatively, both Epic and Black classes.

Generally speaking, you get most visits at the Base level, then Black and least visits at Epic.

No. The trial period is 14 days and cannot be paused or extended.

Your payment period and calendar month are not necessarily the same. Your payment period always starts on the day of the month that you started your membership. For example, if you start your membership on the 10th of a month, your membership will renew on the 10th of each month and run until the 9th of the next.

There is max limit of 20 checkins per month (wellness visits included) excluding visits to some studios which have unlimited visits. Larger plans gives you more bookings at a time and allow access to more studios and monthly visits to certain studios. Check studio profiles for details. Your monthly visits reset for all studios on the 1st of each calendar month. If you reach a limit you can chose to purchase classes until your visit limit has been reset. Purchased visits are not included in the workout limit.

There are no limitations on how much you can work out at STC gym. Unlimited access applies to both solo training and classes, across all membership levels.

You can redeem up to 3 gift cards per year. You can buy and gift as many gift cards as you want.

If a member forgot to register for the class, an error message appears when the member tries to scan the Bruce Studios QR code.

It is important that all Bruce Studios members scan the QR code when they visit you. It is at the scan that the visit is registered and that you later get paid for.

If the member does not have a booking, they will not be allowed to attend the class.

If a member has reached their limit, they cannot check-in. You can see this by asking the member to open your studio in the app, where you can see how many visits have been made in a month.

We have a general visit limit with all partners of 8 visits/month.

Exceptions are the Epic level in Stockholm and the Black level in Gothenburg and Malmö, where we also have limitations of 4 or 1 visit/month.

Those on the waiting list for a class will receive a notification with 20 seconds intervals that a spot is available, then it is first come, first served to book the vacant spot.

How Wellness is included depends on which benefits portal you purchase through.

Benify (Benifex): Wellness visits are included in the packages

Black membership: 4 Wellness visits per month Epic membership: 8 Wellness visits per month

Epassi, Wellnet, Söderberg & Partners: Wellness visits are not included. The membership instead has a 10% reduced price compared to the regular price. It is not possible to add a Wellness package afterwards. However, you can purchase individual Wellness visits directly in the app.

Bruce Studios aims to avoid extra charges. The aim is to include as much as possible for members in their membership. We have found that extra costs can be a barrier to our members and lead to fewer bookings, as well as confusion about what is actually included in the membership.

After scanning the QR code via the Bruce Studios app, the member receives an entry ticket on their phone. The entry ticket contains the class name, start time, date, member's name and a picture.

All training that is not instructor-led, for example training at gyms, swimming halls and climbing centers is called Solo training. For Solo training you do not need to book anything in advance, just check in during the opening hours listed in the app for each studio in the app.

To use Bruce Studios, you need a smartphone with iOS 17.6 or a later version, or Android 6.0 or a later version. Additionally, a working internet connection is required to check in and open doors at studios, among other functions. To enable check-in and view studios near you, location services must also be activated.

The day after the trial period ends, you pay the first monthly payment for Black and you get full access to everything included in the membership.

If a member does not show up for a booking, they will be marked as a no-show and blocked from booking classes for 14 days. Members who are blocked have the option to unblock themselves by paying a fee. The collected fees are pooled and used to compensate for no-shows. Compensation is distributed based on a dynamic model.

When a member is blocked, they can unblock their membership for a fee. This fee is collected in a pot that is used to reimburse No Shows. The compensation for No Shows is done according to the dynamic model.

During the trial period, the same rules for No-Shows and late cancellations apply as for regular members. If you receive a No-Show, you will be blocked from using Bruce Studios for 14 days, but you can still do solo training, and go the classes you have already booked. You cannot cancel your membership until those 14 days have passed or until you unlock the block. Read more.

What happens if you get more strikes during a block?

• Any new strikes will take effect after the current block ends
• If you reach another 3 strikes or a no-show during the block, a new 14-day block will start after the current one

Removing the block:

• You can either wait for the block to expire or pay a fee to remove it at any time
• New members can remove a block for free up to 3 times
• After that, the fee is 100 DKK / 140 SEK / 140 NOK

Strike expiry:

• Strikes are removed automatically, one at a time every 30 days, starting from your first strike

Membership limitations during a block:

• You cannot cancel your membership or trial while a block is active
• You cannot pause your membership during a block
• If a scheduled pause overlaps with a block, any remaining block days resume after the pause ends

When your commitment period ends, your membership will automatically continue as a new 12-month commitment at the same price, unless you choose to turn off the annual renewal.

You can turn this off in the "Account" section of the app. This must be done before the last day of your current commitment period.

You can cancel at any time during the 14-day trial period. Once cancelled, you will no longer be able to work out at studios, and any booked classes will be automatically cancelled.

Please note: If you have an active booking block, you must unlock it before you can cancel.

You cannot cancel an annual membership early, but in special cases such as injury or pregnancy, you may be allowed to pause your membership beyond the included pause days. Changes in the schedule or studio offerings do not count as valid reasons for early cancellation.

When you end your membership, you have 1 month's notice. This means that you pay for a final month after your current payment period ends. You can use the membership as usual throughout this final payperiod. Example: If your payment date is the 15th of each month and you cancel your membership by April 14th, your last payment period will be April 15th - May 14th. If you cancel your membership on April 15th, your last payment period will be May 15th - June 14th.

No notice period applies if you cancel your membership during your first month as a new member. This does not apply to annual memberships.

You have to cancel your membership yourself in the app by going to Account - Membership - Cancel membership.

You can't cancel your membership by writing to Bruce Studios.

According to The Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies. Please note that this only applies if you have not used your membership and that specific rules apply to the Trial.

The big difference is the price of the memberships, which also contributes to the fact that, for example, there is a lower compensation per visit on Base compared to Epic. We always look at our partners' own membership prices and adjust the membership level each partner is available at accordingly.

For example, if a partner has an own membership price of 600kr/month, the partner fits better on our Base membership, compared to a partner with an own membership price of 1500kr/month that fits better on our Epic membership.

Base - In general, the gym, swimming, martial arts, dance and outdoor training are offered here. There are also some climbing facilities, yoga studios and more available.

Black - The largest membership offering mainly CrossFit, HIIT, Yoga, Meditation, Climbing and Martial Arts. Black members can also train with Base partners.

Epic - Only available in Stockholm at the moment.

A membership for those who train the most. It brings together Boutique studios, Barre, SPA, Pilates, water activities and some HIIT, Martial Arts and other categories. Epic members can train at all affiliated Bruce Studios partners.

With credits, you pay every time you work out instead of having a fixed monthly cost that comes with the membership. You can choose the number of credits you want to buy, however the minimum amount is 50 credits. How many credits a workout costs varies from studio to studio and corresponds to the studio's own prices. Your credits are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase. See our credits page for more info and prices.

Please note that credits cannot be used on wellness studios.

Larger membership plans offer more flexibility—with the ability to make more bookings simultaneously, access additional studios, and enjoy monthly visits to select studios. See individual studio profiles for more details.

Open training: Members can check in at any time during the opening hours you have specified.

Booked class: By default, members are able to check in from 30 minutes before the start to 5 minutes before the start. If a member checks in after that, it will be considered a late check-in.

We encourage all our members to respect the designated check-in time to maintain a smooth and efficient experience for everyone.

Wellness studios are exclusive to Black and Epic plans and means studios with recreational activities such as saunas, soundhealing, cryotherapy etc. The Black plan includes 4 wellness visits / mo and the Epic plan include 8 wellness visits / mo. When you sign up, you can choose whether to include Wellness in your membership. If you decide not to include it, you won’t be able to book classes at wellness studios. However, you can still purchase single wellness visits directly through the app. If you change your mind later, you can contact support at any time to upgrade your membership and add Wellness access.

When purchasing a membership from Epassi, Wellnet or Söderberg & Partner you don't have wellness access in your membership.

All studios have a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel later than 12 hours before a class, it will result in strikes based on how close to the class you cancel:

Strikes breakdown:

• Late cancellation (12–3 hours before class): 1 strike
• Short-notice cancellation (3–1 hour before class): 2 strikes
• Last-minute cancellation (within 1 hour before class): 3 strikes
• No-show (did not attend the class): 3 strikes
• Late check-in (cut-off time varies by studio): 1 strike

To avoid strikes, make sure to cancel more than 12 hours before the class. The exact cancellation deadline and check-in time are shown in the class description and your booking. You will also receive a push notification before the cancellation deadline as a reminder.

If you book with credits:

• Late cancellation and short-notice cancellation result in a deduction of 5 credits, while the remaining credits are refunded
• Last-minute cancellation and no-show are non-refundable

If you pay per visit: No refunds are given for cancellations made later than 12 hours before the class or for no-show

The gift card is valid for all studios Bruce Studios offers at the membership level you purchased. With over 1000 studios in total, you can find everything from yoga, CrossFit, swimming, gym access, climbing, and much more.

With the "one month" gift card the recipient can work out as much as they want for one whole month. With credits, the recipient pay a certain number of credits per workout. The cost per workout varies from studio to studio. Credits are valid for one full year once they've been activated.

The activation must be completed within one month of purchase. Just contact Bruce Studios Support, and they’ll help you activate your membership or credits.

The member can book up to 5 minutes before the class. However, this may vary with our partners.

Regarding booking, Bruce Studios members can generally book 1 week before the class, i.e. when the class becomes bookable.

The payment to partners will be issued 30 calendar days following the distribution of the Revenue Distribution report. The amount is paid to the payment account indicated by the partner.

When purchasing Bruce Studios through a benefits portal, you can only buy the packages and prices that are available in that specific portal.

Any special prices, discounts, or individual pricing that you may see in the Bruce Studios Studio app apply only to purchases made directly in the app. These prices cannot be used or matched when paying through a benefits portal.

The prices and terms in each respective benefits portal always apply when making a purchase there.

Due to recent changes in Danish VAT regulations, instructor-led training is from January 1st 2026 subject to 25% VAT for certain age groups. This means that many of the classes included in our memberships now carry higher tax costs than before.

To continue offering a wide range of high-quality classes and to fairly support our partner studios, we’re adjusting our prices accordingly. As a result, our memberships have been updated to better reflect these changes.

No. All current members will keep their existing price. If you cancel and later restart your membership, or if you change membership level, the new current list price will apply.

At some STC gyms, there is a QR code to access the women's changing room. To enter the women's changing room, you scan the QR code with the Bruce Studios app, and the door will open. Men do not have access to enter the women's changing room.

If you do not have a Swedish personal identification number, the system cannot detect if you have access to the changing room. Please contact support, and we will assist you. Please note that you will still have access to the gym but will not have access to the changing room.
